Welcome to 4th Grade!

My name is Miss Norgaard. I am starting in my 12th year as a teacher here at Rau. I have a degree in elementary education and Spanish with a minor in music from the University of Mary.

Grading Scale

100-97% A+ 89-87% B+ 79-77% C+ 69-67% D+ 59-0% F

96-94% A 86-84% B 76-74% C 66-64% D

93-90% A- 83-80% B- 73-70% C- 63-60% D-

Miss Norgaard's Homework Policy:

Any homework taken home will be daily work that students did not complete in the classroom. Every day students will be given ample time to complete school work, but if it is not completed in the time given student will have the responsibility to take it home and complete it.

All homework and schoolwork will be due the following morning at 8:30 AM. I will collect the homework and schoolwork from the turn in baskets at that time. After this time, work will then be deemed late and an automatic 10% will be taken off of their work the first day it is late, 50% the second day late, and 0% the 3rd day late. Regardless of lateness, all assignments are expected to be turned in.

*Obviously, things come up and I will always be willing to work with your student to ensure they are receiving adequate and necessary needs to complete schoolwork effectively. I do understand that situations arise where students may need extra time to complete work and I will help on a student by student basis.
